About Our Farms

Whistlepig Farm

Whistlepig Farm is a one-acre vegetable farm located in Boise’s Dry Creek Valley, near Hidden Springs and just a short drive from downtown Boise.

Owned and operated by Lyndsey Mulherin, a first-generation female farmer, Whistlepig Farm is passionate about regenerative agriculture and climate-forward farming. We grow without tillage, pesticides, or herbicides and avoid plastics and factory-farming byproducts (commonly found in organic fertilizers) wherever possible.

In addition to growing for the Dry Creek Growers CSA, Whistlepig Farm sells at the Boise Farmers Market and manages the Hidden Springs Community Farm.

Black Fox Farm

Black Fox Farm is owned and operated by Joe Redden. Located in Boise’s Dry Creek Valley, Black Fox Farm specializes in salad greens, carrots, greenhouse tomatoes and cucumbers, and pasture-raised eggs. Joe is passionate about growing high-quality produce and creating healthy soil through cover cropping and rotational grazing.
